I'm 78 year old have had diabetes for 20 years. I live alone . Don't go out much .But people don't even know that I have diabetes unless I tell them . I take 4 shots a day test 5-6 times a day. My Dr. said I'm doing good. I paint ,take care of my yard (mowing) and a few flowers. I don't walk as much as I would like to because I don't have any one to go with me . Live one day at a time God Bless You

Well, according to the AMERICANS WITH DISABILITY we people with diabetes now have a recognized disability under the act. But that doesn't mean that we SHOULD be treated differently.

no the people that might treat u different just don't understand that we are the same just have to deal with things a little different and that should not matter to them if they are ur true friends they should understand.
