I am 48, I was diagnosed(sp) in Nov. I have been doing great up until this last couple weeks. I do not think I have really changed my eating but Ican not seem to get my blood sugars down.
I was wondering if any one knew just how much stress and sleeping disruptions can affect my testing? When should I start to worry?

All the way up to 289 after a day of great stress and poor eating

Stress and lack of sleep can mess you up big time! Perhaps you do not need to worry — which is stress and can contribute to your Blood Glucose problems. Perhaps you need to take action to control your BG numbers. Perhaps you can change your eating plan to avoid carbohydrates and eat more veggies and proteins. Perhaps you might want to talk to your diabetes Dr about your diabetes care plan and perhaps change that a bit. I pray that you'll get those BG mumbers going the right way soon
