For me, there are so many various types of bottled water in grocery stores and popular market chains like Walmart, HEB and countless others. I'm a huge fan of a few brands of bottled water like Aquafina, Poland Spring and Dasini. Do you have a favorite brand of bottled water? I know that sometimes bottled water can be expensive and some experts also say that certain brands of bottled water can taste the same as plain tap water, or some may pefer the alternative of filtering their water with either a faucet filter or a built in filter from a pitcher like Brita or PUR! But I would like to know your candid comments on the topic about bottled water. Water is water: it is a colorless, odorless and tasteless clear liquid made from 2 parts hydrogen and 1 part oxygen- or at least that's what I've learned in my history books. But here's what I've learned as someone who's had Type 2 diabetes: the amount of water in our bodies is about 70 percent! Our muscles are about 75% water, fat is 50% water, and bones are also about 50% water. So for me, especially since summer has officially started and the Texas heat can become deplorable, insufferable and downright dangerous for so many, I think that it is imperative and highly essential that we nourish and completely hydrate our bodies with as much water as possible. They recommend that we drink 8-8oz glasses of water a day; others say that you should only drink the amount recommended by your weight- but to me these can vary from time to time. My belief is that you should always drink water even when you are not thirsty- the primary sign that you are about to be dehydrated is sweating! Not only can drinking water clear your skin naturally, but it has other deeply beneficial factors such as cleaning/detoxifying your system, curbing your appetite, and keeping your body clean and refresh. There are also other ways in which we can add water in our life such as eating wholesome fruits and vegetables. So make sure that you drink up this summer and make water a vital part of your everyday life!!

my favorite is evian but its to expensive to buy all the time so i buy nestle pure life purified water…they have it at walmart in gallon jugs. I think the purified water tastes best, but I still have to add water flavor enhancers to it like mio or crystal lite.

I had a filtering pitcher and used it like heck for a while. Then noticed that the filters that were supposed to last for 3 months barely lasted 2 weeks. The water here in our section of town is so full of junk and smells so bad of chlorine that I just let it run for a minute before I use it. Can't afford the filters for the pitchers any more.

I usually drink water through a Britta filter bottle. I like it since I don't need to lug around water bottles, and the water doesn't get hot in my car. I don't like the taste of tap water in Las Vegas. Too much chlorine for me.

Bottled water is very important to me because I live in a town where the tap water is simply undrinkable! It has a horrible odor and is usually off colored, some days its reddish-rust colored, others it brown or yellow. I usually buy the sam's choice bottled water from wal mart because it is the least expensive that I have found still tastes good.
