I'm very excited! I think I figured out what I am suppose to do. Lately,I have been meeting parents of children with diabetes. I just got off the phone with one and she was wanting support for her nine year old son. I am going to start a support group. Not sure how Ibut I have this computer and with the help of any of you that can help me,I'm sure I can get it done. I've already got projects in mind. My head is spinning with ideas. I knew there had to be a reason I keep running into these parents. Please help me any way you can!!

Make it fun and always have different snacks that are pre-divided into single servings so everyone can try it and see what the serving size is. If anyone starts a complain sesion shut them down and bring the room back to positivity.

Contact a Certified Diabetes Educator in your area, I am sure they would help you set up a support group. Lantus sponsors a site where you can find one in your area. Either ..look under education or Or contact The American Diabetes Association in your area for pamphlets. I think it is a great idea

I wanted to wish you luck with your support group! First id build a website and get the word out to as many people as possiable! Maybe if you want a person to person support group you can advertise in the local paper?? Hummm. Lots of ideas! I'm sure before you know it many people will come! I wish you the best and God bless!
