Is this considered over indulging?

Tomorrow 06/25 is my birthday and I plan on eating food items that I have been missing. I don't plan on over eating but I am going to take all my meds 1st. Do anyone have and good ideas on foods I should avoid. My kids are planning on taking me to Red Lobster. I will avoid fried foods but I love highly seasoned foods. Cake and ice cream is a must and also watermelon. Do you all think that is too much? Please respond.

Happy belated Birthday. I hope you enjoyed your day.
Belated advise is try to eat a small amount of what you want. If you do eat more than you meant to oh well, there is always next birthday to try and do better. My Dr just shook his head and said, "Once in awhile won't hurt you too much." When I told him of a high BG reading after indulging in a favorite treat.

Yes it is but sometimes you just want to enjoy yourself and since you do not do this that often, you will be okay. When it ends there ,leave it there. You only live once.

Happy Birthday Myra!

It depends a lot on your serving sizes, especially for the cake and icecream. If you must have cake and ice cream, I think it would be better if you would forgo the watermelon. You might also want to only eat half of your meal at Red Lobster and take the rest home to enjoy it a day or 2 later.

How have your BG#s been lately?

Praying that you have many happy returns!

Blood Glucose Numbers.
Sounds Yummy Myra! Just not too much! Portion control is where I crash and burn. So I need to be careful on that.
