I have a niece that is selling this stuff, (which I believe is another one of those pyramid schemes), I was just wondering if any of you diabetics have used this to control your sugar, since this is what she keeps telling me. And yes I am a doubting Thomas. I need to find people who are not selling it, that has tried it, and it is working. by the way I'm a truck driver and I trying to keep my sugar under control with oral meds, since the trucking industry will not allow me to drive a truck if I go on insulin injections. Any information on this would help me tremendously.

I have no direct experience with these people, in fact I hadn't heard of this before. But what i did was google "body by Vi reviews" and selected this review website to read: http://bodybyviprogram.com/bodybyvi-reviews.

From what I've read this review seems to be rather neutral in its approach.

If you want to lose weight, however, I feel that the best way to do that is to follow a low-carb eating plan. I have lost about 35 lbs in 4 mos by simply following a low carb lifestyle. I stopped using any medication to control my Blood Glucose levels. Fortunately for me my pancreas seems to be putting out enough insulin to control my BG levels IF I don't eat a lot of carbs. Don't try it without meds. without discussing it with you Dr first.

I pray you will do well.

James

thanks James for your reply, and I was just looking at this, and I belive you are correct about trying the low carb lifstyle, I've done that before and lost about 40 pounds, but it never changed by BG levels, so my doctor wouldn't let me get off the meds. so unfortunatley I quit, but now they are higher than ever and more meds so I have to do something. my niece did tell me, that her uncle on her mothers side is diabetic, and his numbers were running in the 400 range, and now he has it down to th 130-150 range, that is why I was thinking about doing this. I'm a truck driver and it really is hard not to eat all the junc. I've been eating lots of raw veggies, and I drink un sweet tea when I can find it. or water. every now and again a soda. not too often I'm not a fan of them, never have been really. glad you have been able to get off your meds. keep up the good work. :-)
