No that I'm older, I feel myself losing some of what I had. I'm thankful that I can still run, shoot ball and other activities that I use to do. I also wish I didn't lapse between the times I was 22 and when I was told I had type 2 at the age of 25. It was a hit in the heart when the doctor told me that one of my three sons would probably obtain the disease without the proper diet and exercise. I thought I was just eating good when I went from 195 to 250 in 6 months. When I found out, I thought it was the end of the world. I'm just blessed to be able to get back into the activities that I took on before I became diabetic. To sum it all up, exercise is one thing people in any state of health should take for granted.

exercise it what keeps me going. water aerobics is a god-sent for people like me who are (were (: ) so out of shape that they can't do standard exercises. I feel great after a work out and could not function without it.
