I'm constantly scratching my skin. I read that it may be contributed to being a diabetic. Does any have any ideas or medication that i can use to releive this itch?

Eucerin Calming Itch-relief treatment. Moisturizes and stops the itching. Contains menthol and oatmeal. Not sticky. I use it to keep myself from scratching and causing an eczema flareup. My dermatologist doesn't want me using cortisone creams because they thin out the skin.

When getting out of the shower or cold water over your skin. Like as cold as you can handle for a min or two. Not only does it wake you up. But it moisturizes your skin and puts the water back into it. Hot water only leaves your skin dry. I also use HEMP lotion. You can buy it at walmart it's like under 7 bucks. I use it like 3 times a day..and My skin thanks me for it. No probs at all with itchy skin anymore.

My skin is always dry and itchy until I started using olay bath wash and the olay body lotion now I am not scratching myself. I was beginning to feel like my dogs and my cat scratching all the time.

Thanks I will try that. I have a doctor's appointment Wednesday and will ask if he can prescribe something with Cortosone.
