I have found an additional site that deals with all kinds of pain including neuropathy. They have listed on their site all kinds of conditions that are pain associated. They also list types of medications, and tools for pain management.

I thought that I would share this site with all of you as many of us have more than one type of pain that can be considered chronic.

This site is called the American Chronic Pain Association, I'm going to post the link here and it may help you or someone you know with chronic pain.

Here is the site :

I was diagnosed with type II in 2000. I have lost ALOT of weight and now my A1C is down to 5.5. I'm going to check that web site right away. I have neuropathy and RA amongst a few other things that create chronic pain that I deal with. I want to check that web site out. Thank you. Yes, I'm new on here.

This should be useful for a lot of people. I use R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. I've had good luck. The one thing I would add is; if you have any suspicion that you have neuropathy, get to your doctor right away. It's just something that I have to live with now, but I wouldn't wish it on anybody.
