I was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic so I am new at knowing what to do to help me control my condition.
I seem to run from place to place everyday. This last Thursday I ate breakfast at 5:45 am, went to work, had a snack (Greek Yogurt) at 10:30 am, had a chef's salad for lunch at 2:00. Then I went directly from work to my daughter's recital. It started at 6:30 pm and I had to work late so I didn't get to stop and eat prior to the show. It ended at 10:00 pm.By this time I was feeling light headed, tired and weak.
Does anyone have suggestions of what to do when this type of situation happens? What snacks can I carry in my purse that would prevent me from dropping too low?
