Hi Everyone,

I am about to start using a MiniMed Paradigm insulin pump. My insurance will only cover 50% of my supplies, which means I will pay close to $300 per month for infusion sets, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can buy discounted supplies online?

I have had many different things denied by insurance through the years. Though it may take awhile, I would recommend writing to the insurance company about your need for the supplies to control your blood sugars to prevent complications and your inability to pay for them due to the fact that they only cover 50%. Have your doctor send a letter as well to show the insurance the need for the supplies. I have almost always gotten the insurance to cover what I need by doing this. Good luck!
