Well today I had my first normal reading it was 95 two hours after eating. I had 5 carbs for that meal *\0/* GO ME *\0/*

That's great! How did you do it?? I got my first normal BS 80 since Nov. and only cause I was sick for 2 days!

hi nanaellen. I ate meat 4oz and 1 cuo nonstarchy veggie and thats it if I eat 30-35 its in the 130-175. Crazy I know but thats the only way to get low numbers.

Good for you! Sometimes it is hard when you are just getting started. After being DX over a year ago, I still feel I am learning. I am sure you will do fine!

5 carbs is very low, and sometimes that is what it takes to get going. Usually you have 15 g of carbs as one serving. So if you can keep those carbs down you will have good numbers. Just make sure you are getting a balanced diet.

HOORAY for you… I just got back from the Dr and my A1C once again was 5.6… YEA for the low carb diets… he has taken me off all meds for the next 6 weeks and I will renew the blood work and see if I can really and truely say I AM NOT diabetic… HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE
