Today I went to the school to pick up my granddaughters asthma medicine. While I was in the nurses station, two 9 year olds came into get there insulin shot. One of the mothers was there too. I told her I have had diabetes for 45 years. She said,"I sure would like to talk to u." I just smiled and let it go. But it bothered me. I believe I've lived this long with this horrible curse for a reason. I went to find her and we exchanged phone numbers and I'm going to share my knowledge and experiences with her and her son. Hopefully I can help him avoid the complications that I am dealing with now.

She is not the only one …I would love to hear your experiences..I'm new to this club. I found out a month ago I have type 2. I'm scared, confussed, and I think I over do it on the worrying. Could use a friend who well knows the in's and outs of the club.
