Hi Everyone. I'm new to the discussion and am excites that this site exists! I was diagnosed with Type 2 in 2006 and Type 1 in May after having surgery to remove 85% of my pancreas. Truly a wake up call to take better care of myself. Glad to be here.

Welcome to the club no one wants to be a part of!

This is a great resource but I encourage you to read as much as you can to educate yourself. Consider a diagnosis a healthy thing in your life because you will potentially avoid complications from Diabetes and be FORCED to live a much healthier life! Sucks at first but it pays off believe me!

We are glad to have you here as well! What a story you have there. Most of us will deal with being one or the other. You can be a true insight to how to manage the changes between the two.
