I am thinking of changing doctors…I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes early last year and was put on pills and told to lose weight..I go to see my doctor every 3 months still and during the little over a year my pills have been changed several times and all he does is say lose weight. He has never checked anything but my blood sugar and A1C. I have told him that I have some tingling and numbness in both my big toes and he has never even had me take my shoes off. Is this normal for a doctor to do this or shouldn't he be checking for neuropathy and making sure that my blood sugar isn't affecting anything else?
