I have been type II diabetic since I was a teenager. My blood sugar has always been high. I can't remeber an A1C under 7.5. I just seen a new docter last week and my sugar has actually been in the normal range. The thing is I have been extremely tired. I also feel dehadrated. Is this normal for having normal blood sugars?

I felt tired and exaughsted when my blood sugars were running HIGH. Before I got put on my insulin I was tired ALL the time and wanted to sleep . After my insulin I felt much more enegery! However I was running 300 to 400. Are YOU also checking your sugar to see where your at through the day?? I've not had that reaction to NORMAL blood sugars. In fact I feel great when I'm normal. You should not let yourself stay high because complcations can occur. Are you on a treatment plan?? Pills? Insulin ?? Id check to see if your running high through out the day and perhaps that's causing the tiredness?? You mentioned always running high, maybe its time for a different treatment plan to help you reach your target blood sugar? Just maybe your bodys not used to being in the normal range? I'm just the oppsite. When I'm high I feel terriable. The insulins I take usually keep me at target range now. Maybe this is something id mention to your doc to figure out the cause?? Good luck and God bless
