I was about to buy some the other day at my pharmacy, but I went back to what I have taken for years, which is regular Centrum, I think I am getting low on iron I get that way every now and then, and it has 100%RDA of it, whereas I noticed the Alphabetic did not. However, the Alphabetic has things that are supposed to really help diabetics that Centrum doesn't have.

I found a good one called Vita Logic (diabetic formula). I found it through a web site called ( Duke and the Doctor) You can google Duke and the Doctor and then go to their suggested products for diabetics and check it out. I don't know anything about Alpha-betic. Check out the ingredients in it before making a decision.

I take emergen C twice a day. Man this stuff really works. There is many types to choose from. I prefer the Healthy Hart (Emergen C) It has all the right stuff.

here is something I found to share:
While multivitamins can help anyone fill nutritional gaps in their diets, studies show that people with diabetes need a multivitamin to maintain proper levels of micronutrients. alpha betic Multi-Vitamin is formulated with the right levels of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients required to nutritionally support cardiovascular health, and eye and nerve function—including alpha lipoic acid, vitamin B12, chromium, lutein, biotin and vanadium. alpha betic Multi-Vitamin contains clinical doses of 23 vitamins, minerals and co-enzymes to provide the nutrients that help restore deficiencies often experienced by people with diabetes. It’s carefully formulated so there are no “mega doses” of any nutrient, and it excludes ingredients, like copper, that aren’t recommended for people with diabetes. alpha betic Multi-Vitamin is a simple, once-daily supplement that makes it easy to remember and easy to support your healthy lifestyle. It can be used alone or with other alpha betic supplements.

***Why is copper not recommended for diabetics? I have never heard of this.
