Wonderful, inspiring story Gary. I am going to print and take your post to my friend to read. She is smoker and drinker. Been hospitalized and on deaths door three times. She recovers when she is hospitalized cause she can't drink or smoke, and resumes both when released. She is about to be released from hospital again and I think your story might help her remain clean and sober.

There are pros and cons about this subject. I love juicing. You do have to be careful though and watch your blood sugars. I love mixing raw veggies with fruit when I juice. I leave the peelings on everything except citrus, and I remove any hard seed pits. I even save the pulp to make my muffins with.
I don't just juice though. I drink a glass of it like you would drink a smoothe, or I use it as a snack pick me up.
You should always check out any diet with your doctor before doing it though and always check you BS regularly. Because everyone is different.
I hope this helps with your question about juicing.
