It all started about 1990 , I stayed between 300- 320 lbs since high school in 1972 thru then, I was told I HAD DIABETES! Ex army doctor, boy was he ever blunt lol.Family md put me on avandia ,crestor, metformin,in 2003, I started gaining weight like a sumo wrestler, 408 lbs in 2000,468 in 2004,500 since 2007,Jan.19th 506 lbs at rehab. center.Life was an live positive by faith and keep seeking what I needed to overcome all this, God,s grace and my belief,to not quit keep asking, seeking and knocking the victory is in not quitting. It,sw finally coming together. I WAS EATING WRONG, mom was a fried food expert all 3 meals and deserts.she passed away in 2003,I had 7 years of withdrawal from that plus the diabetic meds add weigh.t to me monthly.FINALLY IN 2011 Jan. 19 th still taking 20 plus suppliments ,novalog 70/30,metformin,a baby aspirin, and 3 other meds, I started on the new points plus weight watchers program .Now I,m 458 lbs ,was 468 10- 14 - 2004,so my faith and seeking is now coming into place,NOTE: i hate pills , but love being alive to be a blessing for as long as I have life.I hope this helps others. by the way I am now 57 years young, and as of tomorrow been married 32 years with my beautiful wife,we have 2 kids son 28 and daughter 25, I,M JUST THANKFUL FOR THE BLESSINGS.

Congratulations on being married for 32 years. Our anniversary is tomorrow too (june 2..39 years)

Have you ever tried Weight Watchers. Need to have some one help you rather than doing it alone. They have a wonderful support group.
