Hi all, Many of you have written and wondered how I did in the Great Lakes Open Tae Kwon Do Championships yesterday. Rather than write to each individualy, I thought I could just put up this post and save some time.
I must give you all my most sincere apologies as I had promised a first place to you in the event I entered. However, I've failed you, I took second place to a man from our Academy (that is a good 20 years younger than me…LOL). This man truly deserved first place as he was far more talented than I. (At least it was someone from our own school that beat me).

Thank you all for your prayers and the support you gave me for this competition, and also taking the time to follow up with emails to ask me how I did.
Even though I'm not around here anymore, you are all still in my thoughts and prayers daily.
John Morris

You are a winner in my book, even just to be there and compete. You did not let anyone down...don't be so hard on yourself. Look at the great thing that you DID!! Silly man! LOL

I miss you a lot, wish you were here. But I am ever so glad you stopped by for a visit. Maybe next time you will stick around for coffee...

Be well my friend, keep on kicking and post some pictures of the event. I would love to see you in action.

My thoughts are with you everyday, and they always bring a smile to my face.
