Miracle Noodle "0" Carbs
Has anyone ever heard of this product? While searching certain items on the web about diet and recipes for diabetics, I found this link and bought some of the noodles. They are very different and I understand they are not actually a noodle. They are from a tuber I think in Japan.
"0" in Carbs, calories, sugars, cholesterol and etc. I am in the process of trying the noodles and coming up with recipes to make them taste like something. They smell upon opening and after you rinse with cold water in a colander, you steep them in hot boiling water for a few sec. Then add them to other sauces, vegetables and salads. They do not have a taste so you mix with other foods to create a meal. They are filling.
Looking for different recipes to try? Suggestions are accepted!!!

I have tried these before and they are a pretty good substitute, as long as you aren't expecting them to taste like the real thing. I've used the regular ones to make a more filling chicken noodle soup. I had forgotten about them but now that you've reminded me I might start trying to use them more. Thanks for the tip! If I come up with anything good I will post the recipe :)
Thanks
sure it is: www.miraclenoodle.com I got the angle hair, fettuccini, and the rice. Let me know what you think. Make sure you follow instructions.
Thanks so much, Donna I plan to try some instead of Spaghetti
That would be angel hair, but fettuccini would also do.
understood! Thanks
You are most welcome!
Do you have a link where these may be found online, or a "real" world source?
I have found these noodles at my organic and Whole food stores.
I have seen these before but have not tried them. I just ordered the angel hair ones to try. I will post recipes and photos as I cook them on my websitesite and try to add them to DC recipes as well. dhetrick4205 gave me their website to order the noodles is www.miraclenoodle.com
Thank you! That will be great. What is your website if I am allowed to ask?
Oh it is www.thediabeticskillet.com its free, recipes and food photos for diabetics and others. All original recipes with nutrition. I will try to post some of them on Diabetic Connect recipes. Have a great weekend. I just requested to add you as a friend!
GREAT SITE. I JUST REGISTERED WITH IT. CAN I ASK HOW YOU FIGURE OUT THE NUTRITION VALUES ON RECIPES. I TEND TO CREATE ALL MY OWN STUFF AND DON'T REALLY KNOW HOW TO FIGURE IT OUT EXCEPT BY GOING BY EACH INDIVIDUAL ITEM I USE SEPARATELY.
SORRY FOR THE CAPS, BUT I HAVE A HARD TIME READING THE SMALLER TYPE.
