I have had a pretty amazing five months to date I have lost 125 lbs. but today I am having a bad diabetic day. My blood sugar has been all out of wack for a few days. i have not been sleeping well because my husband moved to Montana for 5 months for a job and he has just been gone a week. I am stressed out about how I am going to make ends meet until he starts getting paid. I am usually very at ease but lately I find it difficult to concentrate on anything. My blood sugar has been running about 175 where it is usually 120. I do go to my dr tomorrow so I know with that I will get some answers. ugh I love having a place where I can say what I am feeling and people not try to fix it.

it has been a while since I have been on here but as of today I have lost 165 lbs woo hoo. stress level still kind of high. My husband has been home now for a couple of weeks but we have been doing nothing but fighting. money issues becasue he lost his job and has not found a new one yet. I feel like my family is breaking apart. since he and our son has been home they have been doing nothing but bringing junk food into the house. He went to the store and brought home white rice and potatoes 2 things that I have not eaten in months.. REALLY when I asked why he said because they stretch.. hello so does brown rice. we are having to move out of our house because we had gottenbehind on the rent and now have to move into a townhouse thatis cheaper. ugh the steess of moving and finances has my hair falling out and so many other little things going wrong. blood sugars still running high and I am at my wits end.. I just don't know what to do anymore

Just wanted to offer you some support. I hope your doctor's appointment went well today and that you received the answers that you need.

I know this is a tough time for you. The separation from your husband must be really hard. I'm glad that he has work, hopefully that will at least lower some of your financial stress soon. I hope you are people around you who can give you support during this time.

And stay in touch with your friends here on DC.

My thoughts are with you,

Hope your doctor can help you. I know stress causes my blood sugar to rise, and then I get stressed about that! Hopefully, you have some "tools" to help also ie. exercise, meditation, prayer, talking to some one. Hang in there!
