Does anyone else on here have Carcinoid or Diverticulitus with Type 2 Diabetes? I also have no Gall Bladder and am looking to find a kindred health partner.

I've had divers. since 1997, and except the initial case that almost" came to surgery, I haven't had any problems since, year later I was told I had type 2 diabetes. Still have as a colon oscopy showed. Avoid seeds, nuts, anything small and hard. I love nuts so it is missed greatly. I just live with the problem. Good luck.

Hi peachens1962, I don't know what Carcinoid is but I do have Diverticulitus. I was diagnosed with it in 2005. I don't have that many problems with it unless i eat something that cause it to flare up like corn or popcorn.

Hi Runthe, Carcinoid is a type of Cancer. I'm finding between just the diabetes and diverticulitus there are so many foods to avoid. Chicken and green beans are safe so that is what I'm focused on right now. My test was at 117 this morning! Lowest in a long time.

I am sorry to hear that. I wish that I can get my blood sugar at a good level. A number for me is around 250. I would do anything to get my levels done that low.
