I always hear everyone talking about drink lots of water. I realize we are suppose to drink plenty of water, but what role does it play in lowering you BS.

I'm not sure, but my diabetes instructor in OK told us that the water was to keep us hydrated and also it helps your kidneys to have an easier job of flushing toxins out of our bodies. Have a great weekend.

drinking 64 oz a day helps my ankles stay slim. anything I can do to avoid cankles I am going to do religiously. Th e minute that I ease up, they become tight and ughhhhh.

nothing. I was told that by a diabetes educator . She said drinking water does nothing to lower BS. You drink it because it flushes out your kidneys. Kidney problems are high in diabetic''s

Thanks, I guess I was miss informed. So many people on here say drink lots of water, so I thought it had something to do with it.
