Interesting article on diabetes and cancer for both men and women.

You have to read the article :http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43011986/ns/healt...

This kind of put the scare in me.

Just what I needed to hear. So far if it can be connected to duabetes I have had it even though my numbers say I have the diabetes under control. Both my brother who died from cancer last month and who had diabetes as well and my sister who is also diabetic and so far is also a cancer survivor but always fighting to keep it from taking control did not take care of their diabetes so my only hope is that my battle for control will keep the cancer away at least for a while.

Very interesting article. Maybe that explains why I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in 2010, and Cancer in 2011.

yes it is a bit on the scary side.

Jem's mom had Non-Hodgkins lymphoma and was diabetic, but she was 87 when she passed.

With the way Jem's body seemed to be behaving, I wouldn't have been surprised had she turned up with cancer eventually, had she continued to live.
