DC was the first community I joined, and I learned that I could feel that sometimes my responses are helpful and supportive to others, as well as others being there for me also.
Thank you everyone at DC!

I have learned a lot in the short time I have been on DC. So many of you have the same feelings that I have about this problem, and about the people who just don't get it. Thank all of you for being here for me and for each other. Never give up on yourself. Treat each day as the new one it truly is, and know that I am thinking about you all, and pulling for you.

First I would like to thank you and everyone who responded. I know that I realize more now than I did before that this community we all belong to can be reachable when we have questions. I also learned that our own feelings about this disease and how it affects our lives varies in some ways but is the same in others. I am left with the feeling that this has been a good experience for all. Thank you diabetic connect for being there.

Ms Julie I understand how you feel about talking to any one about medical problems. It has been a lot easier for me to open up here, because every one here has simular problems and we all have questions. DC is an awesome site.

I'm so glad you finally overcame your shyness and decided to share with us.

The ppl who told you to shut up were undoubtedly uncomfortable with real life in the real world. Sounds like they'd prefer a fantasy world.

Thank you for trusting us enough to speak up, Julie!

Life is too short to waste time with those who can't think of anyone but themselves. Learned from experience they are not worth the trouble.
