Thaanks for the links, they all have valuable information on them. I am always trying new ways to cook food. Although, sometimes the family won't eat them..let alone the dog.

I agree. I am South America and I love spicy and tasty foods. I cook with lots of fresh herbs and they are healthier and they go in any dish. Pinky

Great thought, but can you afford the food to put the spices in, or the spices?

Good point!
Food prices are outrageous here on the east coast!

Food prices are outrageous here too. I am so ready to move somewhere I can grow my own fresh produce. At least then I will not have to worry about how they were grown, and what was used on them etc. Thats my dream anyway.

Here here, I relay on food pantries for a good portion of my food. All you get is pastamixes, canned vegs, cereal and bread. Once I got eggs, bug they had been frozen. Never any meat or chicken. If your on a limited income Diabetes is the Worst thing to have. I have to choose between healthy food and paying for test strips.

I agree with you about diabetes and a limited budget.
I suppose that other people with chronic illnesses are feeling the pressure of surviving on a limited budget also.

Amen, I've been there where it was test strips or eating. My budget is $40 a month for me, I'm not to eat the rest of the family foods nor they mine. Food banks are out if I don't want to get divorced, so…its one meal a day.
