I am looking to any insight you might have on how to make a Spicy V8 juice type drink in a blender. I know to start with tomatoes, celery, spinach but then what? Any ideas folks? I love the spicy V8 but it is getting pricey!

I know you can come up with some since you are a great group of people!
Thanks!! :)

Add some OLD BAY Spice with a little Cayenne Pepper, I like HEAT, Sriracha Sauce has to much SUgar in it, It didn't used to, but times have changed.

Here's a juicer recipe for the original V-8 Juice. Just add your own spices.

8 carrots, cut into chunks
4 stalks celery, cut into chunks
6 tomatoes, cut into chunks
1 bunch fresh spinach
handful of parsley
1/2 a white onion
1 fresh, raw beet, cut into chunks
1 or 2 cloves fresh garlic

Run all ingredients through your juicer. Stir, chill, stir and serve.
Use it fast. It does not keep very long because of no preservatives.
I love to use this in a pasta sauce.

My 2 youngest brothers work in the V-8 plant in Napoleon OH, —— so I'm not gonna tell ya! J/K!

I know they blend up red radishes and watercress and carrots. I don't know what else. Maybe they can email me about some of the other ingredients. I don't drink it because even the low sodium V-8 tastes a bit too salty for me.

Just had an idea and went to Google for a recipe: Here it is from (warning it does have sugar as ingredient - so this recipe is not diabetic friendly):

Of course you might want to play around with the recipe. Perhaps add a non-caloric sweetener,

I pray you enjoy! and have fun playin in the kitchen!

Thank you! That stuff does has a lot of salt but that is the only thing I like the salt in… strange! Drinking this and being good on my other stuff has helped me go from a 10.5 A1C to a 6.1 and four months and shed some of those extra pounds!

I will try your ideas and and let you know my success! :)
