If regular lotions or creams don't work ask your Dr. For an Rx for clobetasol propionate cream (USP. 0.05%). I've had eczema all my life and have tried all kinds of expensive creams both Rx and OTC. This stuff is about $20.00 with out insurance. It works better than anything I've ever use. My daughter got a nasty dry skin patch some months ago and we used this cream and it cleared right up.

Barbara, I'm sorry to learn of this.

I see from your profile posting from 3 mos ago this has been going on for a while. Are you having edema and swelling in your legs? It might be one of MANY things going on with you. It would be futile to speculate.

Putting lotion on your legs may make them look and feel better, but do nothing for the underlying reason for your problem. It could be heart related, it could be vascular problems, or any number of things I wouldn't know about.

Are you on any diuretics and/or blood pressure pills? If your Dr has known about this for about 3 mos+ Then it might be time to call in a specialist.

Praying you get your problem corrected, soon!

James

Good advice James. My edema turned out to be caued by venous stasis. I hesitated about seeing the Dr. Almost waited to long.
