how do u keep from feeling completely drained

everyday i am so tired i just dont wanna do anything i REALLY have to force myself to get up and get kids to school and then i go back to bed and get up and takes all day to wake up! i take b12 and eat protien but still noooo energy
heck im lying on the couch writing this

check and see what you sugar reading are..if they stay low you will fell weak and sluggish..sugar bolew 1000

I have had the same experience-almost have felt like I am passing out. Drinking lots of water and just trying to move around helped me. But you might want to let your doctor know if it's really affecting your daily life. Take care.

Hello Kasey,

Sometimes dealing with so many things going on in one's life can weigh you down and make you tired it is something that you need to push through. Things will get better for you when your blood sugar levels are high it does make you really tired. I know when mine would get in the 200 range I did not want to move out of bed for anything but I had to keep moving. You will be in prayers that everything will work itself out for the better.

I know what you meen for me I just had to start with something and do it every day ,so I started small got a ten lb dumble and played with it when I was sitting on the comp or TV lol then I started to work out with it just a little .
then I started to do it more and more then I started to walk A little now I work out 4 times a week and walk every day lol lol lol
They sey that a body in motion steys in motion and you know what they are right .

Before being diagnosed I was getting tired all the time. Needed to take a nap after work each day. Even started to fall asleep at work during lunch and meetings. Once my blood sugar came down to normal numbers the tiredness went away. So getting your blood sugar under control is the secret.

I found following a low carb diet along with drinking lots of water and eating lots of broccoli and cabbage helped drop my blood sugar in a very short amount of time. I kind of follow the Atkins diet myself. You can learn everything you need here. http://community.atkins.com/all_content.jsp I try and keep the saturated fat to less than 10% of my total calories.
