He is Risen! What a great exclamination! No matter what the calander says, to me the beginning of Easter is always the beginning of spring. It is more significant to me than New years in a lot of ways. One way is that it is a sign of new life, new beginnings. Time to make or renew our promises to ourselves to eat better, exercise more. I look out the office window and see 100's of American Redbud trees in their beautiful pink/red/purple buds. (it depends on the soil what color they are!) and it takes my breath away. My committment to myself is to walk each and every day, as long as it isn't raining! What committment are you willing to make to yourself? Jim

Lucky you. Redbuds are delightful in the Spring. I am going to walk extra at work. When I am in memory care it is all on 1 floor with a large area of a walking path for the residents that I will use. When I am working the rest of the two buildings I can use the stairs instead of the elevator. On the to and from I can walk to and from farther bus stops. Don't know if I will want to walk the whole three miles, yet.
