Ok I whent and did it this time

Hello all
I try to stick to eating what I know thats good for me BUT today I slipped
How dose this strike you? Banana-blue berry -Wallnut pancakes
I was making them for my famly and the smell was just to much for me I had three of them .I had to use 45 units of insulin to cover for them WOW
Now I can have no more carb today .
You know it was grate to have them but now I feel bad that I let me slip I will get over it ok I am over it ,it was so good lol lol lol
Well thats it for this month no more sliips lol lol
Hope you have a great day I got to go work this off lol going for a long long walk lol lol

I think we all slip once in a while, it is what makes us human. When there are so many foods you aren't suppose to have, a slip is worth it

Wow when you cheat on your diet you do it up right. Just remember everyone slips now and then so dont' be to hard on yourself.

So very glad I didn't read this the day you made your pancakes, I would have tried to get some from you. I am sure you enjoyed them, but will resist the temptation a little longer before the next time.

Hey Harlen, haven't run into you in awhile. Sounds like you recovered well from your slip up. Now if you could find a way to make no sugar no carb pancakes... but that wouldn't even leave you with the bananas, would it?

Harlan, have you tried any of the whole grain pancake mixes? I have found a really good one, I can eat 2 med pancakes without my numbers going out of whack. Will give you the brand name if you want it. I got it from COSTCO.

I live in Maine we dont have Costco Booo Hoooo
Scrach is the way for me I dont like box mixes to menny addatives

We're all human. Every time I see someone digging into a chocolate lava cake or a nice slice of strawberry cheesecake I have to remind myself NOT to jump over to table and steal their fork.

The rest of the Day I only had fresh cut veg to keep the daily carb count down lol
I even had a stake for diner I did ok with the BS with the long walk

Harlan, you jewel you. Someone told me that when I eat carbs to surround them with lots of protein to help balance them out. None of us is made of iron. That you were making them for your family shows how much you love them. I could not way smell them and "just say no" than fly. A tip I learned year ago about cravings: when you crave something, have some, but not a lot of it. Otherwise you'll have that craving nagging you until you give in and eat way too much. I've found if I eat a little of something bad for me it doesn't make my #'s reach for the sky, the craving is satisfied enough I can say "Not now" and stick with it. Was it worth it to eat those waffles? As much as you probably enjoyed them, I'd say yes, in the long run. We all know bad is not good, but if you stick with your plan to take in no more major carbs for a while, you'll most likely be OK. Be nice to you, Harlan and move on. Use your walk to calm your anxiety over blowing it. Then enjoy your day! Hugs and smiles…

At dinner just now, I had my homemade mac and cheese, (not any lower fat kind like I make sometimes) and I ate a big serving but it was Ronzoni Smart something? Anyway, it has 5 grams fiber per serving, I had a good healthy salad with just a little low fat dressing before that, plus had exercised for 40 mins,. an hour before eating it. I've found that I can eat the Ronzoni, not as much as I want, but more than I could just regular macaroni. I usually stick to the whole wheat kind but I can get away with this one too.

Harlan, you are too much :} there is nothing wrong with you slipping once in awhile, so my nutritionist told me as long as it is not a habit. I know sometimes I also eat something that I should not, not a lot but I do. We are still human and we will have human err. Just enjoy, and as you said take a long walk..
