Today I had a way tough soccer practice. When I was there I thought of two of my favorite quotes which can also be applied to handling diabetes.

What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

If you don't learn from your mistakes, there's no sense making them.

Never get discouraged by your diabetes; until there is a cure, your stuck with it. Move past the frustration and move forward with bettering yourself. Of course this is MUCH easier said than done, but as Winston Churchill said (one of my other favorite quotes) Never, never give up.

I love the quotes and it's very true that you should never give in nor give up. I decided that on Apirl 7, 2008 the day of my awakening and the start of my new life style change that I would fight and when I get tired to fight some more no matter the challenges.

A quote that I love:

God will never bring you to it if He couldn't bring you through it.

Stay strong my friends and fight to the bitter end.

Hugs and Kisses

Thanks…we need all the positive reinforcement we can get! If I have learned anything with diabetes it is we "gotta have heart" so when frustration and depression raise their ugly heads (as they will) to squash them each of us needs hope, prayers, positive attitude, stick-to-it-ivness and having friends who can understand. What an upbeat, unbeatable combination!
