Hello everyone, I bought the treadmill, and most of my bloodwork is back to normal. My choleseteral hasnt been this low in I cant remember how long. I have my surgery on my birthday, April 28th. They are going to open my chest from my throat to the diaphram and clean everything out. I feel better knowing finally whats happening. Ill be out of work from 4 to 6 months. That means no motorcycle for the summer. Oh well thats life. As long as its get done and over with. Thankyou everyone.

Thankyou Tabby. I wont be able to stand being out so long. I have to be busy or I go crazy. Being on my b-day is no big deal, its being not working.

Thanks for the update. Prayers are coming your way. Good birthday. I have a niece who shares it. Since you'll be preoccupied on your birthday I'll say Happy Birthday now! Good luck & best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Keep us posted and best wishes. I am gonna watch your response to Gabby's question because "clean out" doesn't sound like a good thing, at least when I think of what I got from my bathroom sink a few weeks back. Wishes for a very speedy recovery so you're back on the bike and back in the groove with life (and riding).

What exactly are they "cleaning out"? That sounds pretty intense.

Cleaning out is the Dr's term, he will open my chest and take out all fat and tissue from behind my sternum. He says its to make sure all the "roots" come out so nothing can hopefully grow back. Then it may be radiation or chemo after that for a while. He wont know till hes done with the surgery.

Congrats on all the good results from your hardwork. Surgeries and birthdays - not really as good of a combo as say peanut butter and chocolate perhaps. Surgery no.3 was going to laand on mine last year but they let me postpone by a week. We'll be on the lookout for you on the roads as soon as you're rady to ride again since you'll have a lot of miles to make up for!!
