Saw the doc last week for a checkup. A1C was bad, 10.3; BG was 191. Been fainting off and on for the last six months, usually dealing with some thing around my neck. Ultrasound of arteries in neck were excellent, good news! Had stress test, that was good news too! Two new meds for lessening pain with neropathy (neurotin 300 mg, twice a day) and melixnod 15 mg for back pain. New meds are working with masking the pain, but back problems still there freezing muscles. But these new meds have side effect making me finally have a good sleep, and not drowsy during the day.

I passed out yesterday for the first time. Scared the heck out of me. I see the doctor this Tuesday and better believe I'm going to mention it to him! lol

I'm in physical theropy at this time for a new injury. My body felt like a clenched fist from my nose to my toes. With gentle stretching I was able to slowly get more range of motion back. GENTLY use it or you loose it. PT taught me that muscles have memory if you don't remind them they can move, they forget…GOOD LUCK

At least it sounds like the good is outweighing the bad. I will take a free and clear ultrasound of my arteries any day! I know you struggle with your food limitations, but is 10.3 up or down from your last visit? I guess you always have to have something to be working on.

I hate those type of Dr. appts. Maybe being abe to sleep at night will help your BG. Will the meds help relieve more of your pain over time? Some seem to take awhile before their full effect kicks in.

I hope the new meds work that way. I need to exercise but can't even walk a block, and going to the gym I usually black out.

what about swimming…Maybe you could do it with a friend and see how it goes.

Do you live near a hotel with a pool.My husband used a local hotel's pool for his hydrotherapy. They charged $2 each time, most of the time we were the only two using it.

Must give the credit for it to my friend with Fibromyalgia. I never would have connected the dots without her.
