i have an old monitor that was given to me, i was just diagnosed but its starting to die i can barely see the screen. when i enrolled here it asked for all my info and which color monitor i wanted… will i actually recieve that? has anyone else gotten one from enrolling here? if not i will find another place for a free one as i have no insurance. i love all the info here but i just wasnt sure about that!

Have you checked the battery? My meter has a battery indicator. It tells me when its getting low.

give it about a week you should receive it by then they only come with 10 strips with the meter. Strips are expensive. Also meters at wal-mart are only about 10 dollars for the reli- on meter and strips are low cost around i think for 25 strips is about 20 dollars.

Yes, you will recieve the meter, free, with about 10 test strips. Thats the down fall. You will have to purchase the test strips after you use the first 10 they provide. I think the best way to go about purchasing one is to look and see which brand of strips are the cheapest ( as I read you currently have no insurance) and then get the meter that matches the strips. They have meters as cheap as 10.00 at Walmart, Target, or even Walgreens. Do some research online and it should be easy. Hope this helped :)
