Well, I have to say that I kind of do but not really. Organic has become a very misleading thing nowadays. It doesn't mean natural or chemical free. All it means is it's been certified as organic. The growers are allowed to use pesticides, they just have to be organically certified. I was talking to a farmer a while back and they said that all of the organic pesticides are worse for you and the environment than a lot of the non-organic ones. Basically now organic means they can charge a higher price and not deliver on a lot of assumptions. The organic licensing laws are actually quite shocking when you start looking into them. It's entirely possible to have something labeled as organic and it be no where close to being organic.

I try to buy locally sourced products and ones that are naturally produced/raised. No antibiotics, no pesticides, etc. The price is generally better and they are usually organic or close to it, just without the certification.

Buy local!! That's my philosophy too. It might not be certified organic but it's fresh and didn't cost a ton of money to ship. I bought apples at the farmers market this past Sat am that were picked off the tree on Friday afternoon. Can't get much fresher than that.. lol Eating one right now mmmmmm

Yeah you can. Go to the farm and pick them off the tree!

I eat organic as much as possible. I totally do all natural. I buy whole foods and cook them myself. Rarely anything from a box or can except for beans like chick peas, black beans etc that take a long time to cook from their dry state.

fresh fruit, fresh vegetables, meats from a local farmer, grass fed not antibiotics or other drugs…I make my own breads too. And yes I have a full time job and I work out at the YMCA everyday. Just mentioning that because I can hear it already with many saying "Oh I don't have time for that" LOL Just saying it before y'all do… LOL

I myself am trying to do the organic thing, you gave me a few ideas. We had a big garden this years and my cousins all live like on the same street. We are trying to do the organic way.
