Hey shorty!

This is fantastic. Stress can affect us mentally, emotionally, physically, so having your own arsenal of stress reduction techniques is a great thing to have in place. When you have your stress levels under control, you are that much better prepared to handle life' challenges. Just going into a quiet place for awhile each morning, whether it is through contemplation, prayer, meditation, just being quiet, can have a positive effect that lasts all day. HAving a spiritual connection adds another dimension. Each of those one day at a time days becomes that much more meaningful. Thanks for sharing this!

We can only do what we can do. We can't go back and relive the past and do it in a different way, but we can learn from the past and decide to live differently in the future. Sounds like you are headed in the right direction! Staying calm, not stressing out by trying to be in control of everything, is a great way to help strengthen your foundation.

Hi shorty. You have discovered something. Like you, I had to go sit and think things thru to help me get in balance. And, like you I found something in scripture that made me laugh at myself…out loud! D can be a tool for us or against us. You mentioned all the mountains we've climbed already. Good point. Each new mountain seems bigger than the last one, but when we look behind us we see a whole mountain range of mountains we've climbed. You encourage me! You're right, we CAN do this…one day at a time. Good to hear from you!

Absolutely, the best thing we can do is to meditate and not only is this good for our soul, but certainly helps with my blood glucose numbers. Good Luck…
