Chances are that Granma in her shopping days would not have recognized all the candy coated fruit snacks, granola bars with chocolate/marshmellows and frozen french toast. But she would recognize fresh fruits/vegetables, meat/poultry, fish and other whole foods in their natural state. So do you buy bananas, instead of banana flavored puddings, pork cutlets over hot dogs or fresh bagged spinanch or spinanch that is fat laden in an over salted sauce?
