Skip dinner rolls-eat whole grain toast for breakfast OR sandwich at lunch, that's all you need.
Nix the tortilla for a lettuce leaf wrap.
Mash cauliflower instead of pototoes.
Make cauliflower "rice"-shred till texture resembles rice, then lightly steam.
Indulge in "carrot fries"-cut long strips,place on baking sheet,drizzle w/olive oil,roast 40 minutes in 400 degree oven.
Replace potato with coleslaw-more fiber, watch dressing,great side dish.
Cut pasta in half-bulk it up with sauteed pepper-mushrooms-spinanch.
Feel a carb craving? Drink glass of water.

Get outta the kitchen!!

Great ideas!!! There are so many swaps we can make to dinner cooking from a chore for a pleasure. Keep those ideas and recipes coming and share them in our recipes section. It may take time to read all of the food labels and come up with healthier menu plans but worth the time and effort. There's strength in numbers and I, for one, am glad to be on your side. Hugs!!!
