I wanted to let you know I just posted a recipe for ice cream. It's a lot of fun to make with your kids or grandkids. No ice cream maker is needed. Just baggies. Also it only makes one serving so if you make it for yourself it's not sitting in the freezer calling your name. Aaaaand it involves a little physical exertion so you get a teeny bit of exercise too! It's listed under snacks, desserts & under 10 carbs.
Hope you try it. Hope you enjoy!

Here is the link to the recipe. http://www.diabeticconnect.com/recipes/3679-baggie-home-churned-ice-cream. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun to do at a picnic or something. Everyone could make their own flavor.

Thanks. Yeah, my niece said the kids at the preschool loved it. Imade choc last night by adding a little lite choc syrup Going to get some strawberries today & try that flavor tonight. The possibilities are endless. Yummmm!

Does anyone know how I edit my recipe? I forgot to put include the calories & I need to edit the rock salt from 6 to 3 oz.

Just add it in the comments below for now. I let someone know to see if they can edit it, but for now, just add a note at the bottom.

You are like psychic or something. Was just recently talking to SWMBO about not really liking a lot of the 'affordable' lo-carb ice creams. Thanx!

You're welcome. Took me long enough to remember to get that recipe from my niece. I had some tonight & it was just the perfect amount for a little snack.
