My husband has had a pump for two years, its been great for his numbers but he gets alot of infections at the site. He uses iv prep before and antibiotic cream and a bandaid after, sometimes the infections start before its even time to change the site. He thinks about going back to the pen but hates to because the pump has been so good for his levels. has anyone had this type of promblem or can offer suggestions about going back to the pen?
