Hello new family. Newcomer as of 3/23/11. It eases my mind to know that there are others who share or have gone through some"draining, emotional times". Been diagnosed since 1997.Sometimes I feel as if I"m still in denial. My hardest struggle has been my glucose control. I must admit, since I've received my pump, I have a better handle on things. I have suppport, but at times it seems as though no really understands. I REALLY APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT IF I'm HAVING A "day", I might get a hug. Thanks in advance

The place where people understand is a great way to describe Diabetic Connect. The ups and downs of the daily struggle cn be really draining when trying to cope when you feel alone in the struggle. While not happy to have other's faciing the same struggle it does make one feel better. So welcome and I'm happy you found DC.
