It can be done one pound at a time. I have lost 30 over the past year by using simple swaps to my out of control eating habits. My tips (and may or may not work for you) are to make sure to eat breakfasts, drink a lot of water, add exercise (does not have to be formal), portion control, read food and recipe labels, and cut out the natural sugars. I watch but I don't obsess over carbs. You have an excellent support system here and even though you may not be considered obese, you can check in with obesity connect (an affiliate to this site) for diet and exercise tips. Find new motivating friends to help you and you'll find that you will soon help others. Remember: one pound at a time will get you to your goals.
