i'm trying to get a free meter cause i don't have the funds to buy one or the supplies which makes this a difficult time for me to figure out since i found out i have diabetes last week from a free clinic. they would not provide anything for just like diabeticconnect so i now i just need to know what to eat & go from there

heaven32 you dont have insurance correct Have you tried to get state assistance ?? I dont know your situation but why dont you send me a email perhaps I can point you a direction to be of some help Need a little more info but if you are low income and or dont have a job there are agencies available depending on stte etc drp me aline to my inbox if youd like

Try eating small potions of food and when you get your meter you can test after every meal to see where your numbers are try to stay below 140 one to two hours after every meal. If you go over 140 at any meal see what you ate and write it down and do not eat that again. just keep testing to find out what works for you.
