I just realized that I have no idea what to do when the batteries in my meter die…

Can I go to like Walgreens or Walmart to have them changed??

I just replaced one in mine over the weekend, got a 2 pack from Target. Downside was after replacing them the meter broke. The upside is I'm getting a free replacement and I now have spare batteries! They are usually the flat, circular type, off the top of my head the ones I just got were CR 2032. The exact type will be printed on the battery in your meter. You could also call the meter company and see if they are nice and send you one for free, I've done that in the past.

Can I replace it myself or do I need to have someone special do it?? (not that I'm saying I'm not special)

Unlicp the back, take the battery out, put the new one in, clip the back on. 15 seconds, easy as pie.

Thanks kdroberts!! I was just afraid I'd break something…I have a new meter coming in for my purse, but I still didn't want to break this one!!!
