Okay, when I found out that I was a Type 2 Diabetic in November 2010, I changed my eating habits, I started exercising regularly and did what I was told to do. One thing that didn't change was my weight. Well, I did lose some weight when I first started out and dropped a whole jeans size. But, since then, nothing. Never the less, a couple of weeks ago, I fell back to the same routine I was in, prior to finding out I was diabetic. I am now getting back on track slowly. But I think that I fell off the wagon, so to speak, because I wasn't noticing any weight loss and was disgusted with myself. I was wondering if there's anyone else out there that have gone through this besides me and how did you manage to stay on track. I mean, I was so straight laced about my eating and exercising and with just one moment of disgust, everything I did for the better flew out the door. HELP!!! I would appreciate any tips, advice or whatever else you got to give.

I've been working on losing weight too and it is going very slowly. I've also been doing alot of reading about plateaus when losing. It seems that it helps to vary the kind of exercise you are doing if you get stuck at one weight. Usualy if I give it enough time, I will eventually drop again. Hang in there. Losing weight and exercising is very important for us diabetics.
