Hair Loss
How are you handling Hair Loss? What products have you used to treat hair loss?
What would you recommend? Are your emotions (stress) causing you to lose hair?

Just another mention I am sure that Walmart sell these Doo Gro products
I have mentioned this on several discussions about chronic hair loss when I was on Pioglitazone I started on Doo Gro products, on the 13th December 2010 it claimed to stop hair loss and regrowth would be around 12-15 inches per year. Yeah right I thought but over 6 months later i have regrowth from half an inch to 6 inches all over my head the pioglitazone was stopped on the 4th February this year nearly 2 months after I started using these products, so I know they work.At present I am using the Stimulating oil, medicated revitalizer, shampoo and conditioner.
try biotin. I was having loss and started taking biotin 2x daily. It slowed down for a bit, but was still dropping out. Then I started shampooing my hair with a shampoo from Bluespring aka superbluestuff. Makers of products with emu oil. They also have a conditioner. 3 days later I noticed very little hair on the shower floor. But which one was it??? Not wanting to find out, I still use both. I get it on line.
I, too, am losing my hair; I asked the doctor about it last week; he feels it is probably due to either a thyroid problem or anemia, and ordered a couple of blood tests for those. Waiting to hear the results. It really bothers me - I used to have the most beautiful hair - some things about growing older are pretty annoying!
You said a lot my dear. I feel the same way. If it isn't one thing it is another, day in and day out. It would be easy to give up but I am a fighter and I know you are too!
but those things are better than the alternative! - think about it.
It can also be hormonal (like low thyroid), especially if you are a woman. I'm like Jayabee52 - male pattern, nothing I can do - not worth the time, money, etc. to do anything but accept it.
I have 3 words to describe my hair loss: "male pattern baldness". I don't like losing my hair but don't worry about it either. Haven't tried a remedy either.
I'm losing hair myself and would like to know what products are best for treating this. I feel it is from stress and maybe not eating nutriously. Have not consulted with anyone as to how to go about this.
I had a problem with losing hair too. I talked to the dr…He did several blood test. I had a severe viatmin D deficincy and my thyroid was low. So he started me on Vitamin D 2,000 once a day and synthroid 0.05 and I am happy to say I have stopped losing hair…its actually growing back.
