I don't know if I am starting to feel my age but I was surfing around the AARP website this morning. I ran across an article on buying organic foods and discovered a link to

I put in my zip code and came up with some local sources that I didn't even know about close to home.

Thought I'd share!

Thanks Ray. I'll have fun searching through my area checking out all the places the site lists. Just a quick look showes several just a few bus stops away.

My wife and I buy several organic foods. I now regularly eat an organic cereal with organic milk for breakfast, We also buy free range eggs. We believe organic tastes better. However, my brother only eats organic foods due to allergies. He hunts deer for organic meat. I don't think I'll ever go that far.

Did the same too — adding zip code and found lots of informative places to go and shop! Website itself is very sourceful.

WOW! I looked up my zipcode, and there were many more farmers market and resources than I thought out here in the middle of the desert. I had lived in this area 15 years previously, and thought I knew a lot about what was here, but WOW! was I wrong. I'm gonna hafta go to some of these places here and check out what they have. This localharvest website is going on my favorites bookmark list.

Thanks Ray!
