Like "For those concerned about using cast iron cookware on a glass cook top... It's not a problem. I've had my cook top for about 5 years and have used my cast iron just as I have for nearly 50 years on gas or regular electric ranges. I have just a couple of common sense suggestions for safe use. Don't drop it on the glass surface and don't scoot it around, pick it up. If you can't pick up your cast iron cook ware then you need to sit and watch TV with it and pick it up and move it to the coffee table, a few minutes later pick it up and move it to the side table or beside you on the couch. Short form, practice picking it up and moving it while it is cold and empty! Anybody can build the strength to handle cookware. "
